Certificate of completion of two years of mechanical engineering related training or 3 years experience in mechanic engineering test field.Job performance assessed by annual review and additional training assigned if required. Local candidates are preferred no relocation assistance will be offered.Previous manufacturing, welding or electrical assembly experience is desirable, especially with the production of power-oriented products.Successful completion of the post-offer pre-employment process (including background check, drug screen, and physical).Ability to follow detailed work instructions and to meet production goals.Ability to work well with others and perform high-quality work in a safe manner.Ability to work all shifts and overtime, as needed.Effective for personnel hired after 1 January 1995 and minimum 3 months experience with manufacturing work.
High School Graduation or equivalent by General Equivalency Diploma or certification of graduation requirements.Transformer oil, paint, transformer units, and various raw and in process materials.Work with tensile tester, resistance bridge, protractor, dielectric tester, hardness tester, torque wrench, computer, CRT, datamyte collector, coordinate measuring machine(CMM), and various measuring devices.Complete required feedback and all necessary manufacturing information documentation daily or as required. Order materials and supplies as needed.Perform special audits and provide department with mechanical technical support.Develop criteria to perform inspections of materials and units to pinpoint problem areas and provide guidance for correction.Interact with customers, suppliers, inspectors, engineering, marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing to solve problems.Identify and report material irregularities and equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel and/or department. Check material/units to assure completion according to specifications.
Responsible for proper use and maintenance of required personal safety protective equipment and understanding proper hazardous material usage.
